Screen Test is a rehearsal for a performance that will never be fully seen.

Screen Test is a piece about process and production.

Screen Test asks questions about performance’s construction and disappearance.

Screen Test is a document; a prove that something happened.

Screen Test is a performance that is somehow absent.

Screen Test wants to be present but can only fail.

Screen Test wants to be (a)live.

Screen Test is nothing but an incomplete fragment.

Screen Test is testing conceptions of time and place in the theatre.

Hamish MacPherson and Martine Painter: Mtg Place

Hamish and Martine are dance artists with a shared love of numbers and simple stylised movement.

Meeting Place is a duet which plays with unfolding a visual representation of an algorithmic formula.

Mtg Place is a narrower version of the piece adapted to fit the Hotel Elephant Gallery for this evening.
